Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Charleston, SC)

Lumen Orchard Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Charleston focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around field visits against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
