Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Silverline Ridge Auto Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 256 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around customer estimates against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to parts orders, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with parts orders. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
