Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Boise, ID)

Fernwood Rowan Banking Services Group is a community-focused bank in Boise serving households and small businesses. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to account openings, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around branch operations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with account openings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
