Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Atlanta, GA)

Summit Bright Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Atlanta region, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 869 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to service appointments, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
