Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Manufacturing Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track costs around customer orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to production lines, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
