Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Atlanta, GA)

Nova Bridge Telecom is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Track costs around service installations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to billing accounts, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
