Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Atlanta, GA)

Ironwood Kestrel Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Atlanta. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 585 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to pricing, and clear open items. • Track costs around supplier deliveries against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with pricing. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
