Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Atlanta, GA)

Silverline Meadow Press is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for press runs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around proofing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to press runs, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
