Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Summit Vista Manufacturing and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around work orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to tooling, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
