Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Anchorage, AK)

Harborlight Keystone Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Anchorage, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. We reward reliability. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around customer tracking against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with dock schedules.
