Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Anchorage, AK)

Clearpath Rowan Civic Services Partners is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for constituent requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to constituent requests, and clear open items. • Track costs around procurement against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with constituent requests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
