Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Nest Financial and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around customer onboarding against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
