Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Albuquerque, NM)

Foxglove Ember Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Albuquerque plant, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around bindery work against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
