Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Albuquerque, NM)

Ironwood Linden Health is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around patient education against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to electronic records, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with electronic records. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
