Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Albuquerque, NM)

Summit Pine Manufacturing Group is a Albuquerque manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to work orders, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with work orders.
