Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Albuquerque, NM)

We are growing our team at Northwind Forge Banking Services and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 575 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Track costs around loan files against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to fraud alerts, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Albuquerque. • We reply to every applicant.
