Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Albuquerque, NM)

Bluepeak Glen Civic Services Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around case files against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with permits.
