Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Albuquerque, NM)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Yarrow Hospitality and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to group events, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with group events. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Albuquerque. • We reply to every applicant.
