Accountant - month-end close (Tulsa, OK)

Harborlight Legal Group provides legal services in Tulsa across employment, housing and small-business law, and we need an Accountant to lead our month-end close. Confidentiality and accuracy are taken very seriously. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to trust accounts, and clear open items. • Track costs around billing records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with trust accounts. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Tulsa. • We reply to every applicant.
