Accountant - month-end close (Tulsa, OK)

Northwind Keystone Farms Group is an agricultural business based around Tulsa. We are hiring an Accountant to take on month-end close. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around cold storage against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Tulsa. • We reply to every applicant.
