Accountant - month-end close (Tulsa, OK)

Bright Haven Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Tulsa region. We are hiring an Accountant to take on month-end close. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Track costs around warranty claims against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to supplier deliveries, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Tulsa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
