Accountant - month-end close (Tulsa, OK)

Highbridge Quill Facilities is a facilities company in Tulsa with crews on day and night shifts, and we need an Accountant to lead our month-end close. You would join a large organisation of about 801 people based in Tulsa. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tulsa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
