Accountant - month-end close (Tulsa, OK)

Highbridge Quill Facilities is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on month-end close for safety inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 956 people based in Tulsa. What you will do • Track costs around customer sites against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
