Accountant - month-end close (Tulsa, OK)

Summit Sable Financial Group serves customers across Tulsa with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring an Accountant to take on month-end close. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around regulatory reports against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer onboarding, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with customer onboarding. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tulsa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
