Accountant - month-end close (Tulsa, OK)

Rivermark Lantern Learning Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on month-end close for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 494 people based in Tulsa. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to school calendars, and clear open items. • Track costs around family communication against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
