Accountant - month-end close (Tulsa, OK)

Foxglove Cross Banking Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on month-end close for fraud alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 264 people based in Tulsa. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to fraud alerts, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around deposit accounts against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with fraud alerts.
