Accountant - month-end close (San Antonio, TX)

Greenridge Pine Financial Partners serves customers across San Antonio with accounts, loans and payments, and we need an Accountant to lead our month-end close. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to payment disputes, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around regulatory reports against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with payment disputes. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
