Accountant - month-end close (remote)

Highbridge Oak Health Partners provides primary and specialty care in Spokane. We are hiring an Accountant to take on month-end close. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around electronic records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinic supplies, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with clinic supplies. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
