Accountant - month-end close (remote)

Summit Oak Health runs clinics and patient services around Las Vegas, and we need an Accountant to lead our month-end close. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around referrals against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with clinic supplies. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
