Accountant - month-end close (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Mill Hospitality and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be month-end close. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to reviews and feedback, and clear open items. • Track costs around housekeeping schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with reviews and feedback. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Tulsa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
