Accountant - month-end close (remote)

Greenridge Lakeside Care Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on month-end close for caregiver training, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to caregiver training, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around visit scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with caregiver training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
