Accountant - month-end close (remote)

Bright Quill Legal Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on month-end close for intake forms, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. People here care about clients, not just cases. What you will do • Track costs around billing records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with intake forms. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Savannah. • We reply to every applicant.
