Accountant - month-end close (remote)

Rivermark Kestrel Pharma is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on month-end close for clinical studies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around regulatory filings against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with clinical studies. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
