Accountant - month-end close (remote)

Clearpath River Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Tulsa, and we need an Accountant to lead our month-end close. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to waiting lists, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around lease compliance against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with waiting lists. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Tulsa. • We reply to every applicant.
