Accountant - month-end close (remote)

Greenridge Pine Financial Partners serves customers across Fresno with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring an Accountant to take on month-end close. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Track costs around customer onboarding against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to vendor spend, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with vendor spend. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
