Accountant - month-end close (Pittsburgh, PA)

Rivermark Timber Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Pittsburgh. We are hiring an Accountant to take on month-end close. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with clinical studies. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
