Accountant - month-end close (Phoenix, AZ)

Highbridge Stone Care Services Group supports families and individuals in Phoenix with personal care and coordination. We are hiring an Accountant to take on month-end close. You would join a large organisation of about 794 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to visit scheduling, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with visit scheduling. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
