Accountant - month-end close (Orlando, FL)

Ironwood Keystone Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Orlando. We are hiring an Accountant to take on month-end close. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around family communication against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to visit scheduling, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with visit scheduling. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Orlando. • We reply to every applicant.
