Accountant - month-end close (Omaha, NE)

Silverline Umber Hospitality runs guest-focused properties across the Omaha area, and we need an Accountant to lead our month-end close. You would join a small organisation of about 116 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around reviews and feedback against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with guest bookings.
