Accountant - month-end close (Oklahoma City, OK)

We are growing our team at Summit Hollow Care Services and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be month-end close. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to family communication, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around caregiver training against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oklahoma City. • We reply to every applicant.
