Accountant - month-end close (Nashville, TN)

Cedar Lakeside Telecom Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on month-end close for customer tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around outage reports against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
