Accountant - month-end close (Little Rock, AR)

Westbrook Glen Care Services Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on month-end close for caregiver training, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 586 people based in Little Rock. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around care plans against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with caregiver training. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Little Rock, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
