Accountant - month-end close (Indianapolis, IN)

Highbridge Quarry Health provides primary and specialty care in Indianapolis, and we need an Accountant to lead our month-end close. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around clinic supplies against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to patient scheduling, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with patient scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
