Accountant - month-end close (Colorado Springs, CO)

Greenridge Summit Markets is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on month-end close for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to supplier deliveries, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around pricing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
