Accountant - month-end close (Colorado Springs, CO)

Stonegate Harbor Health provides primary and specialty care in Colorado Springs. We are hiring an Accountant to take on month-end close. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinic supplies, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
