Accountant - month-end close (Charlotte, NC)

Foxglove Harbor Health is a healthcare provider in Charlotte with clinics and support teams, and we need an Accountant to lead our month-end close. You would join a large organisation of about 558 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to referrals, and clear open items. • Track costs around patient education against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with referrals. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
