Accountant - month-end close (Boise, ID)

Silverline Beacon Financial is a financial-services company in Boise. We are hiring an Accountant to take on month-end close. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around regulatory reports against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with loan applications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
