Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Tulsa, OK)

Foxglove Glen Facilities Group is a facilities company in Tulsa with crews on day and night shifts, and we need an Accountant to lead our grant and fund accounting. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Tulsa. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to supply orders, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around cleaning schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
