Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Tulsa, OK)

Rivermark Forge Energy is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for usage data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Tulsa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
