Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Tulsa, OK)

Cedar Field Markets Partners is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to online orders, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around shrink and waste against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tulsa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
